TIMPANI LESSONS:
AGES 12+
WHAT'S YOUR SKILL LEVEL?
Complete Beginners
New to timpani? Learn to read musical notation in bass clef, stick and mallet selection, instrument characteristics, tunings, maintenance routines, and general playing techniques. A great first step towards playing in the band.
Established Players
Advanced lessons will explore ear training, pedal tuning, dampening technique, and musical excerpts for two, three and four timpani. From instrument setup to maintenance to extended performance techniques, we will cover the essential skills necessary for today’s all-around performing timpanist.
WEEKLY LESSONS:
Lessons are booked on a monthly basis.
Fees are as follows:
$120 monthly - for one thirty-minute lesson per week
$180 monthly - for one forty-five minute lesson per week
$240 monthly - for one sixty-minute lesson per week
SINGLE OR SHORT-TERM LESSONS:
Some student prefer a bi-weekly or write-in schedule.
Fees are as follows:
$30 - single thirty-minute lesson
$60 - single sixty-minute lesson
